Best of Burton is delighted to be managing the food court for Sonic Boom Festival 2026, a live music event taking place in the heart of Burton upon Trent.
We are inviting applications from quality food traders who would like to join us for the event.

Food Traders Wanted
We're looking to create a varied and appealing food court for visitors to Sonic Boom Festival and welcome applications from a range of food businesses.
Applications will be considered with the overall mix and variety of traders in mind. Submitting an application does not guarantee a trading space.

Before You Apply
Please make sure you can meet the main trader requirements before submitting your application. These include:
✓ Minimum Food Hygiene Rating of 4 where the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme applies
✓ £5 million Public Liability Insurance
✓ A suitable Risk Assessment covering your trading activities
✓ Appropriate food hygiene and allergen arrangements
✓ LPG, gas and cooking equipment declared in advance where applicable
✓ Appropriate fire-safety equipment where required
✓ Electrical equipment and wattage requirements declared in advance
✓ Adequate water brought for the needs of your business
✓ Full dimensions of your trading setup accurately declared
Practical Information
⚡ Electricity
A limited electricity supply may be available by prior arrangement ( additional charges apply)
Electricity is not included in the pitch fee.
All electrical equipment and its wattage must be declared on your application.
Requesting electricity does not guarantee that the requested supply can be provided.
💧 Water
Traders must bring an adequate supply of water for the needs of their business, including food preparation, cleaning and hand washing where applicable.
Traders are also responsible for the safe collection and disposal of wastewater.
🚗 Vehicle Access & Parking
Vehicle access to Burton Market Place will be available for unloading from 10:00am.
Once unloaded, vehicles must be removed from the Market Place unless the vehicle forms part of an approved catering/trading unit.
Public car parks are available nearby, together with on-street parking on Fleet Street and Lichfield Street. Please check applicable parking restrictions and charges.
