Best of Burton CIC is a Community Interest Company passionate about creating vibrant, welcoming events that bring people together and provide opportunities for local businesses, traders and community organisations.

Based in Burton upon Trent, we organise and support a wide range of markets, community celebrations and special events, both independently and on behalf of local authorities, parish councils and other organisations.

From coordinating traders and food courts to helping plan and deliver complete community events, we provide practical, experienced event support tailored to the needs of each event and the organisation behind it.

What We Do

No two events are the same, which is why our involvement can range from managing one particular element of an event through to supporting the planning and delivery of the wider event.

Our work can include:

• Stallholder and trader recruitment

• Entertainment and activity coordination

• Liaison with suppliers, community groups and local businesses

Best of Burton CIC works with councils, community organisations, local businesses, traders, performers and suppliers to help turn event ideas into successful community experiences.

Our role can be adapted to suit each project. An organisation may need support sourcing and managing traders, coordinating activities and entertainment, managing a food court, or providing broader event-planning assistance.

 

This flexible approach means organisations can bring us in for the areas where they need additional experience, capacity or practical support.

Supporting Local Traders & Businesses

 

An important part of our work is creating opportunities for independent traders, food businesses, makers and other small businesses to take part in local events.

We aim to create a varied and appropriate mix of traders for each event while providing clear information and a straightforward application process.
